Good Morning!
I will meditate on Your precepts and [thoughtfully] regard Your ways [the path of life established by Your precepts]. I will delight in Your statutes; I will not forget Your word. -Psalms 119:15-16
When we meditate on God’s ways and the principles that He has set in place and we choose to follow them wholeheartedly, there is fulfillment that comes from that. There is a wisdom beyond anything else in the world in God’s Word and in God’s ways. Throughout history science keeps making new discoveries that God already spoke of in Scriptures or discoveries that prove that God exists. Often it gets mistaken that science and God can’t mix because science is often used to try and disprove God but when done right and truthfully, science is only catching up with God. There is nothing on earth that God does not know of and there is nothing on earth that will surprise God and there is nothing that doesn’t make sense to God. God is all knowing and all powerful, so why would we not meditate on His Word and allow Him to work in our lives and through our lives. Like the verse above says, I will delight in Your statutes and I will not forget Your Word!
“To meditate on Scripture is to allow the truth of God’s Word to move from head to heart. It is to so dwell upon a truth that it becomes part of our being.” -Greg Oden
“Reading the Bible without meditating on it is like trying to eat without swallowing.”
