He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will remain secure and rest in the shadow of the Almighty [whose power no enemy can withstand]. -Psalms 91:1
When we find security in Christ we are dwelling in the shelter of the Most High. Finding shelter there doesn’t mean that we will not face hardships in life but it does mean that you can find comfort and security for your soul and mind in the midst of the hardships. There is a deep-down rest we can experience when we are in the shadow of the God, we can hand all of our worries and anxiety, that we can’t do anything with anyway, to Him and we don’t have to stress about it. Continually and consistently building our relationship with God really does bring a peace even in the craziest of times and knowing that relationship cannot be broken against our will brings serenity into our lives. What steps are you going to take or how are you going to dwell in the shelter of God today?
