He hears our voice, and our appeals for mercy.

Good Morning!

I love the Lord, because He hears [and continues to hear] my voice and my supplications (my pleas, my cries, my specific needs). Because He has inclined His ear to me, therefore I will call on Him as long as I live.  -Psalms 116:1-2

I love how this verse says that God hears our voice and our asks. We can know that our prayers will make it to God always, no matter what; there is no such thing as a lost signal to worry about, no matter where we are and no matter what circumstance we are in, we can pray and God WILL hear our voice. I also love how it says that God’s ear is inclined to us, meaning He is waiting and listening to what we have to say. Actively listening is just as much communication as speaking and God actively listens, every time we pray. God doesn’t have an off day, God doesn’t have a day where He is preoccupied, God doesn’t have a day when He speaks over top of you because He is focused on what He has to say. God is always the perfect listener and then in the quiet is when He speaks. In what way does this help your perspective when you pray?

“No matter how softly you whisper a prayer, God surely listens, understands and knows the hopes and fears you keep in your hearts….and when you trust HIM miracles happen.”

“Satan’s biggest fear is for you to become what God created you to be. This is why he has tried everything to make you lose focus.”
