May God Comfort Your Hearts

Good Morning!

Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself and God our Father, who has loved us and given us everlasting comfort and encouragement and the good [well-founded] hope [of salvation] by His grace, comfort and encourage and strengthen your hearts [keeping them steadfast and on course] in every good work and word.  -2 Thessalonians 2:16-17

I love how this describes the feeling of being rooted in Christ. He has given us everlasting comfort and encouragement and hope. Through that we can be strengthened and quite frankly, are set up to endure just about anything. When we start living in that mindset and we open our eyes to what God is doing around us we can be encouraged knowing that God is still very much at work. When we recognize that, we can’t help but want to be involved in what God is doing and therefore are in a position where God can use us. The world promotes and wants you to live in a place of fear as that is how it controls you. Instead look around and see all the good things that God is doing, be encouraged and then walk out in that encouragement. Be the change.
