Good Morning!

Moreover, I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you, and I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.  -Ezekiel 36:26

When we give our life to God, He has a way of changing up the way we think about things, the way we feel about things, the way we react to things. When we are plugged into God, He gives us compassion because He is compassion, He gives us love because He is love, He gives us grace because He is grace. The moments that we drift away from God we might often realize that we lack all of those. If we allow God to work in our lives and in our hearts, He will do amazing things in turning our perspective to align with His. Like the above verse says, He will give us a new heart and a new spirit and remove the heart of stone. Interesting that it referred to it as a heart of stone…stones are heavy, they weigh you down and can anchor you to a lifestyle that is unhealthy and unfulfilling. Allow God to work in and through you today.
