Good Afternoon!
I assure you and most solemnly say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea!’ and does not doubt in his heart [in God’s unlimited power], but believes that what he says is going to take place, it will be done for him [in accordance with God’s will]. -Mark 11:23
How serious do we take this verse? Do we truly believe that what we pray/ask for in faith will happen? We can have the confidence, if it lines up with God’s will, that what we ask for in faith will happen. God desires us to find fulfillment in life and has no desire that we suffer, so we can be confident that God’s will is in our best interest. The other thing that we have to keep in mind is that just because we ask for it in faith, it doesn’t mean it is going to happen the exact way we think it will. When we ask God to move a mountain in our life it might not mean He will just make it happen, it might mean that He is going to hand you a shovel or a bulldozer (provide the means) and clear the way for you to move it. God has many ways of working and normally it isn’t the way we think but once you are past it and look back you often see that His way was more encompassing and much better than anything you could have imagined. Believe it, live it, spread it.
“In faith, there is enough light for those who want to believe and enough shadows to blind those who don’t.” -Blaise Pascal
“Faith sees the invisible, believes the unbelievable, and receives the impossible.” -Corrie Ten Boom
Dad Joke of the Day:
I finally finished writing my book on penguins.
My publisher said it would have been better if I wrote it on paper.
Have a great Wednesday!
