Good Morning!
For God did not send the Son into the world to judge and condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. -John 3:17
Jesus died for each of us so that through Him we may be saved. He did the purest act of love possible. His approach hasn’t changed, He still desires for all of us to be saved and once we are saved we have this Friend that is willing to listen to us, guide us, and help us navigate through life. He is not waiting for you to mess up so He can judge you or condemn you, He is there ready to forgive and help you continually grow in your faith. It is easy to slip in the mindset that we get what we deserve, that karma has caught up with us, that God is getting us back for what we did earlier, and while life decisions have natural consequences, I believe we give that type of mindset way too much credit. It’s the enemy that is condemning us and trying to make us as miserable as possible. God desires for us to have that intimate relationship with Him and enjoy our life in Him to the fullest. Jesus is here to save you, not condemn you. Don’t let the enemy make you believe something that isn’t true.
“Jesus came not to condemn, but to reclaim.” -A.W. Tozer
“Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” -Romans 8:1
