Above all, lift up the [protective] shield of faith with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. -Ephesians 6:16

The Roman soldiers used to have tall shields with a steel frame and the center was made of multiple layers of leather and before a battle they used to soak these shields in water to extinguish the flaming arrows of the enemy. Our faith is our shield and is able to extinguish the flaming arrows of Satan, but will only work if you hold it up and use it. Let us realize the power we have in our faith today and let us use it. Don’t let Satan get in your head and make you believe something that isn’t true.
