Good Morning!

But I tell you the truth, it is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper (Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor—Counselor, Strengthener, Standby) will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him (the Holy Spirit) to you [to be in close fellowship with you].  -John 16:7 AMP

There are so many times where I have thought it would be so awesome to sit down with Jesus and just pick His brain, to ask Him how to handle certain situations, to vent to Him and see what advice He would have for me. Then verses like this remind me that He is always here, there is no where on earth that you can be that He is not just a prayer away. He is available through the Holy Spirit, we do not have to wait in line to talk to Him, we do not have to travel to see Him, we do not have to wait until He comes through the area to go see Him, He is here and available at any time of day or night. He also goes by Helper, Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor, Counselor, Strengthener, or Standby. He covers every situation, He wants to celebrate with us when we are celebrating, He wants to mourn with us when we are mourning, He wants to counsel us when we’ve had rough go and need some direction. In what way is He present and evident in your life today?
