Psalms 33:18

Good Morning!

Behold, the eye of the Lord is upon those who fear Him [and worship Him with awe-inspired reverence and obedience], on those who hope [confidently] in His compassion and lovingkindness.  -Psalms 33:18

God will watch over those who worship, honor, and fear Him. When we give ourselves to God, the Holy Spirit will guide us in and through situations. His favor will be on us and He has no desire that we fail at whatever we are facing. When we have that confidence in God and are conscious of His guiding, and we don’t let ourselves get sucked into following or doing the normal things just because that is what everyone else is doing, I wholeheartedly believe that you can look back and see where you listened to God’s nudging and where you didn’t. The more we seek relationship with God the more we understand His language and what His desire is for us. Spend time in prayer and don’t let the busyness of life get in the way of that relationship with God.

“The greatest comfort in this life is having a close relationship with God.”  -David McKay

“God cannot give us a happiness and peace apart from Himself, because it is not there. There is no such thing.”  -C.S. Lewis

Dad Joke of the Day:

I thought I heard someone say hello to me in Arabic today…

But it turns out it was a false Salaam.

Have a great Monday!
