Now may the Lord of peace Himself grant you His peace at all times and in every way [that peace and spiritual well-being that comes to those who walk with Him, regardless of life’s circumstances]. The Lord be with you all. -2 Thessalonians 3:16
If we are walking with God we can experience a peace that we can only receive from God. There is nothing else like it and there is no other way to achieve it other than having a relationship with God. When you are at peace with God, when His peace rests over you, it affects your life in every way. Every situation you walk through will have less negative impact on you, your day to day will seem less volatile, life will be more meaningful. How do we receive that? Relationship. How do we start that relationship? Praying to God for guidance and soaking in His scriptures daily. How do you pray? Pouring your heart out to Him as you would to someone you trust completely knowing that it will not get passed on and that through that you will experience the start of healing, growing, and peacefulness. That, along with soaking in scripture, will lead you to the peace that is referred to in the above verse.
