Good Morning!
He personally carried our sins in His body on the cross [willingly offering Himself on it, as on an altar of sacrifice], so that we might die to sin [becoming immune from the penalty and power of sin] and live for righteousness; for by His wounds you [who believe] have been healed. -1 Peter 2:24
Do we live our lives as redeemed? Or do we live our lives as defeated? Jesus carried our sins in His body and died for them, He himself was sinless but He took on our sin so we can experience redemption and freedom. That ugly feeling that comes with sin is what He was bearing in His body when He died. The above verse says He did this so we can die to sin (get rid of it) and live in righteousness. Do we live our lives as if this is true? Or are we going to allow the enemy to make us to think that this doesn’t apply to us? If we can fully live in this we can experience a lot of healing like the verse above states. We can live as a person redeemed and show to the world what it’s like to live without the burden of sin and darkness. Someone that lives and walks out being redeemed and forgiven will stand out in today’s world. They will be like a ray of sunshine on a dark, dreary day. Live redeemed, shine the light.
