Good Morning!
Anxiety in a man’s heart weighs it down, but a good (encouraging) word makes it glad. -Proverbs 12:25
Anxiety can really weigh us down. It is hard to think, it is hard to stay focused on anything, and it seems like we can’t move fast enough or get things done fast enough. But when that person, or that Bible passage, or that prayer, or that thought that comes from God helps put things in perspective it is like a weight off of our chest. We then have the ability to think straight, to focus, to come up with a plan and act on it. Anxiety is not from God but is a tactic that enemy uses to make us miserable, let us remember that the next time we feel it coming on and turn to God for direction and comfort.
“Our anxiety does not come from thinking about the future, but from wanting to control it.” -Kahill Gibran
“When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.” -Wayne Dyer
